The DROP is complete. Each BEND has been perfected. The TRACK is prepared and ready. Each RAIL has been laid. It’s time to TEST…
Our final update comes as The Gravity Group depart Oakwood Theme Park and Wales and head back across the Atlantic Ocean. They arrived as contractors, but depart as friends. Work on-site has been completed, and we enter the final stage of the project; Testing and Commissioning.
Over the last few days Megafobia has awoken, and completed the first cycles of our new track.
As these clips show, Megafobia has roared back into life and the train thunders around the layout.
Over the next few weeks Megafobia will continue to test as commissioning is completed. During this time, Megafobia will remain closed to Guests.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to all contractors and suppliers who have been involved through this project, including Haven Engineering (Milford Haven), Davies Crane Hire (Carmarthen), Adlington Welding (Neyland), Sunbelt Rentals (Bridgend), Dylan Thomas Crane and Plant Hire (Boncath), Coastal Cottages (Haverfordwest), Top Joes Townhouse (Narberth) and The Gravity Group (Cincinnati, Ohio).
As commissions draws to a conclusion we will announce our intended Megafobia opening date, along with some exciting launch events and opportunities to be some of the very first riders of the year!
