Children aged 3-12 years wearing a yellow top or t-shirt will gain free entry into Wales’ biggest theme park with a full paying adult. The park will be filled with a sea of yellow celebrating the cycling jersey Cardiff born Geraint Thomas has received for his incredible achievement.

Oakwood tickets need to be purchased on arrival to the park and one child will go free per one full paying adult this week until Friday 3rd August 2018.

Oakwood Theme Park’s Marketing Manager, Hannah Worrall said: “Along with the rest of Wales, we are so proud to celebrate Geraint Thomas’ phenomenal win! To help the celebrations we wanted to offer a special discount rate for those who sport their own version of the famous yellow jersey.

Geraint was actually an ambassador of Oakwood back in 2011, meeting our mascot Scorch and having a great day out with us!” Hannah added.

This promotion includes the Park’s first After Dark event on Wednesday 1st August – a firm favourite in the local calendar!

Oakwood is home to over 30 different rides and attractions offering something for everyone from a variety of family rides to thrill-seekers’ dreams.
