Here at Oakwood Theme Park we’re so excited to bring you another great experience for the whole family to get involved in. We’ve teamed up with the Dinosaur Experience team – but what exactly does that mean, and what incredible activities will be on offer for you to get involved in? Let us reveal all, including what will ROAR the loudest – the dinosaurs or Megafobia…

What is Jurassic June?

During the weekend of the 22^nd-23^rd June, get ready for an experience you’ll never forget, filled with T-Rexcellent adventure and excitement. From bumping into our very own triceratops to taking part in a dinosaur dig, our Jurassic June event is the perfect opportunity to experience pre-historic life and see the creatures that used to walk this earth!

What’s more, Jurassic June comes at no extra cost to your admission ticket – making it the perfect way to spend a weekend with the whole family. Check out our dinosaur experience in between each ride, like our spinning Dizzy Disk or the incredible Megafobia.

What should I expect at Jurassic June?

There’s so much happening during our Jurassic June event, so make sure you check out all the details before heading down to make sure you don’t miss out on anything!

Our favourite dinosaurs are returning once again with a whole host of attractions including meet and greets and interactive displays. All taking part in the Neverland area of Oakwood Theme Park, here’s what you can expect over the Jurassic June weekend.

• Triceratops Meet & Greet: Get the chance to get up close and personal with our very own triceratops – give them a stroke, but watch out for their horns! You’ll get the chance to learn some fascinating facts about these historic animals. For instance – did you know that triceratops had 800 teeth and was the size of an African elephant?
• Raptor Live Training Academy: See with your own eyes what it’s like to train up our raptors – just like Owen Grady in Jurassic World! Raptors were one of the more intelligent dinosaur species, with razor-sharp claws just like an eagle’s talons.
• Baby Dino Meet & Greet: As well as our larger dinosaurs, why not come and see our baby dinos too? These cute little creatures are the best way to see some smaller dinosaurs up close. Most baby dinosaurs are hatched from eggs, just like other reptiles. Our meet & greet is an exciting chance to have your very own encounter with a baby dinosaur.
• Dinosaur Encounter: Our dinosaur encounter takes you on an exciting journey, with the dinosaurs coming along too. Our Dinosaur Rangers are so skilled that they can actually ride the dinosaurs. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you won’t forget in a hurry.
