Megafobia Brings Home Bronze!
Oakwood Theme Park is thrilled to share that we have won a Bronze Award for Best Wooden Coaster – Megafobia presented by the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain in this weeks UK Theme Park Awards!
For the third year, the British public were able to vote for their favourite theme parks in these national awards recognising the best rides and attractions, shows and events.
The awards were organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, an independent consumer guide to UK theme parks. This year, the awards were presented in association with AttractionTickets.com
There were 22 categories this year, including Theme Park of the Year, Best Steel Coaster, Best Wooden Coaster and Best Mascot.
204,501 public votes were combined with the scores from the judging panel to determine the winners in each category – 30 theme parks from around the UK received nominations.
The awards ceremony was held at Drayton Manor on 22 September and was attended by more than 100 representatives from the UK theme park industry.
