Oakwood After Dark 2017: Everything to Know

If you love the thrills and excitements of rollercoasters, how about taking a ride After Dark?
Our popular attraction is back, allowing you to experience Oakwood in a whole new way. Every Wednesday and Saturday in August, the park will stay open until 10pm to give you more ways to experience the fun!
For those who have never been to our After Dark event before, here are all of the great things you can expect to see and do! Don’t forget: if you book in advance online, you can save up to 40% on tickets.
Ride at Night
After Dark gives you a unique opportunity to climb aboard some of Oakwood’s many great rides at night, letting you experience all of the thrills of the park as the sun starts to set.
Adrenaline-filled adventure rides such as Megafobia and Speed will have their tracks lit up throughout the night, which allows you to whizz around as you illuminate the sky. You can also take a dip on the wet and wild Waterfalls and Drenched, and delve into Peter Pan’s magical world of Neverland for some ultimate family fun.
It’s Time to Party
We’ll be putting on an unforgettable show, full of live music to get you dancing the night away!
Performing on the main stage will be a selection of some of the best local singers, musicians, and bands playing a mixture of original songs and classic hits. Not only that, but there will be DJs spinning your favourite songs, alongside some spectacular performances from our professional dancers.
Bring the Colour
If you are really up for partying in style, then our Colourfest UV Colour Powder Party is going to be right up your street.
Make sure to bring a white top that you don’t mind being splashed with brightly coloured powders, and then hit the stage and join the crowds as the kaleidoscope of UV colours come together. It’s an experience like no other!
Light Up the Skies
The grand finale of our After Dark event will see the skies lit up with our impressive fireworks display. Set to dramatic and exciting music, the display will feature plenty of different fireworks that’ll make you and the rest of the audience cheer with delight.
It’s a dazzling show that is guaranteed to end your night with a bang.
Visit Us After Dark
If you’re after a different kind of family night out, After Dark is the event for you. Join us on Wednesdays and Saturdays in August (except Wednesday 30th August), as well as a Bank Holiday special on Monday 28th August.
Plan your day in advance and you’ll be able to save up to 40% on walk-up ticket prices.
