Circuit Break 2020 Season End; Ticket Information Update

19 October, 2020

Following Welsh Government’s announcement on Monday 19th October, regarding a national circuit breaker lockdown, Oakwood Theme Park has sadly now closed for the 2020 Season.

The following sets out the options for ticket holders, Season and Annual Pass holders who are unable to visit as a result of the early conclusion to the 2020 Season.

Flexible Day Pass Tickets – Day Pass Tickets valid for any 2020 date, which have not been used during the 2020 Season will be extended for use for a single day visit on any date during the 2021 Season. No further action is needed, and holders of these tickets should keep and use their existing ticket on their chosen 2021 visit date and we look forward to welcoming you next year.

Dated Day Pass Tickets (27th September – 18th October) – Day Pass Tickets valid for visits on a selected date between 27th September and 18th October, including those purchased using 3rd party schemes such as Tesco Clubcard, have already been contacted via email and issued with a unique case reference number for their ticket. For those that have indicated that they’d like their ticket extended, these will now be extended for use for a single day visit on any date during the 2021 Season. No further action is needed, and holders of extended tickets should keep and use their existing ticket on their chosen 2021 visit date. For those that selected a refund option rather than extension, refunds will be processed and issued by means of cheque to the address provided at the time of booking. Please allow 14 days for this to be processed.

Dated Day Pass Tickets (24th October – 1st November) – Day Pass Tickets valid for visits on a selected date between 24th October and 1st November for either our Halloween Spooktacular or Fireworks Spectacular, including those purchased using 3rd party schemes such as Tesco Clubcard, will be extended for use for a single day visit on any date during the 2021 Season. No further action is needed, and holders of these tickets should keep and use their existing ticket on their chosen 2021 visit date and we look forward to welcoming you next year.

Complimentary Tickets – Complementary tickets valid for use in 2020, including Wet Weather Returns, Competition Winners and Charity Tickets that have not been used during the 2020 Season will have a short extension added for use on a single day visit during the first 7 days of the 2021 Season. Please keep an eye on website and social media channels for the launch of our 2021 Calendar, which we will announce when we have the green light from the Welsh Government about re-opening. Please note that no further extension of these tickets will be offered beyond the first 7 days of the 2021 Season.

2020 Season Passes (exp; 1st Nov 2020) – Season Passes purchased from Wednesday 3rd July 2020 which expire on Sunday 1st November, will be extended to include the first 7 days of the 2021 Season. Please keep an eye on website and social media channels for the launch of our 2021 Calendar, which we will announce when we have the green light from the Welsh Government about re-opening. Please note that no further extension of these Season Passes will be considered. No further action is required and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2021.

2020 Season Passes (exp; 13th July 2021) – Season Passes purchased between Monday 4th November 2019 and Tuesday 2nd July 2020 were extended for use until Tuesday 13th July 2021 due to the delayed start to the 2020 Season. A further extension of 7 days to Tuesday 20th July 2021 will be applied to these passes. Please note that no further extension of these Season Passes will be considered. No further action is required and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2021.

Annual Passes – All Annual Passes, with an expiry date between 24th October 2020 and 19th October 2021 will be extended to include an additional 7 days of park operation, once our 2021 Calendar is launched. As the expiry date for all Annual Passes varies, it is not possible at this stage to issue new expiry dates without foresight of our 2021 Calendar. In a similar manner to Annual Pass extensions issued earlier this year following the delayed start to the 2020 Season, extension dates will be published on our website once this information is confirmed. Any unused Annual Pass perks remain valid for use in the 2021 Season. No further action is required and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2021.
