Theme Park Set To Be Overrun By Pirates

Captain Hook, Pirates and Tinkerbell the fairy are among a cast of ‘Peter Pan-inspired characters taking part in a thrilling new family show at Oakwood Theme Park to celebrate Halloween (October 27th – 31st).

Set in the Pembrokeshire park’s new £4m Neverland attraction, ‘The Ghost of Skull Rock’ features live actors, music, dancing, lasers and even fireworks.

Starting at 5pm every day, the story begins with a pirate narrating the tale of Skull Rock.

As the story unfolds Captain Hook then makes an unwelcome appearance and casts a curse which can only be broken by Tinkerbell….with the help of the audience.

Oakwood Theme Park Director Dominic Jones said: “Neverland is very much aimed at families and we wanted to provide them with a special Halloween show that was suitable for all ages to enjoy.

“’The Ghost of Skull Rock’ mixes music, dance, storytelling, live action, lasers and fireworks to create a magical experience as dusk falls over the park.

“The Neverland area is the perfect place to set the show and really helps to bring the story alive – with pirates, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell all having starring roles,” he added.

There will also be a children’s pumpkin trail, creepy characters in the Spooky 3D ride, live music, and a ‘Theatre of Nightmares’ set in an abandoned theatre for adult visitors.

To add to the fun and thrills Oakwood team members will be donning their own spooky Halloween costumes.

“We’ve tried to put together a packed programme of activity for Halloween which appeals to all ages and will provide fun thrills and chills for everyone,” said Dominic.
