Spooktacular Nominated for Prestigious International Horror Award

We are thrilled to announce that Spooktacular has been nominated for “Best Theme Park Halloween Event” in the 2024 Scar Awards, hosted by ScareCon. The nomination sees us competing with international theme parks including Thorpe Park, Portaventura, Parc Asterix, Movie Park and Walibi Holland.
Our 2023 Spooktacular event, introduced the new scare maze, Clownsaws. This twisted attraction featured a host of deranged clowns on the loose, adding a unique, terrifying twist to the Halloween festivities. Along with Clownsaws, the event also spotlighted two other scare attractions; Witch Hunt and Uncle John’s House, ensuring a chilling, unforgettable experience for all thrill-seekers who dared to attend.
Adding to the immersive Halloween atmosphere, the event also featured roaming street performers, free play game stalls and live bands providing guests with a diverse, entertaining experience beyond the scare mazes.
The Scar Awards, hosted by ScareCON, renowned for recognising and celebrating the best in scare attractions and Halloween events, will hold its awards ceremony early next month at Physco Path in Newcastle.
