Oakwood Theme Park’s Natalie Hunt said: “We are within easy driving distance of a large number of armed forces, public and emergency services personnel and we thought it would be a good idea to offer them a significant discount on the admission price.

“It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to all those brave and dedicates men and women who do so much to help and protect us and we’re looking forward to welcoming many more service personnel through our doors in the coming weeks.

“The offer is valid to all serving service personnel, NHS employees and members of the emergency services, they simply have to provide some sort of ID at reception to qualify for their discounted admission,” she added.
