After Dark returns to Oakwood!

Oakwood Theme Park’s highly popular ‘After Dark’ late-night openings start next week and will be running throughout August.

The Pembrokeshire park will be open until 10pm on Wednesday, August 3rd and Friday August 5th and then every Wednesday and Friday throughout August as part of its ‘Original After Dark’ events.

Visitors will be able to enjoy illuminated rides, live music and extra evening Wild West High Diving Shows as part of the late night entertainment.

Oakwood Theme Park’s Drew Cunliffe said: “Our After Dark programme was always extremely popular with visitors; particularly local people as it gave them a chance to come to the park after work and enjoy the rides.

“The evening opening, with the sun setting and the rides lit up, provides a totally different experience and it is something that we have had more requests about than anything else.

“As a result we’ve decided to re-introduce the event on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout August and we have also added an extra evening performance of our spectacular Wild West High Diving Show to add to the fun.

“We will also have a live DJ delivering a euphoric trance set from 7.30pm in the heart of the park opposite Megafobia,” added Drew.

The Wild West High Diving Show features some of the most incredible high diving performers in the world!

A team of fearless cowboys perform amazing high altitude stunts as part of a Wild West themed outdoor spectacular as they plunge from a 25 metre board into less than three metres of water.

“With the mixture of late night openings, new shows, live music and dance events, DJs and theatrical performances this is set to be our busiest ever August with plenty for visitors of all ages to enjoy,” added Drew.
