Staff Bus Service
A subsidised return bus service is available from specified areas.
Discounts
Free entry to the park is provided for all current employees and discounts are available for merchandise in the park retail outlets.
A subsidised canteen is located on site, providing a variety of hot and cold meals, snacks and beverages.
Performance Incentives
A Customer Service Bonus Scheme rewards members of staff identified as providing good service by our Mystery Shopper.
Staff are also rewarded under our Staff Suggestion Scheme if an idea put forward is subsequently implemented.
Entertainments
Staff events are organised throughout the year. Entertainment includes staff bowling leagues and football matches, paint-balling, fancy dress nights, a Stars in their Eyes evening and an end of season party.
Training and Development
Oakwood works with local training companies to offer career development opportunities. We currently offer seasonal staff the chance to study for NVQs in Customer Service, Mechanical Ride Operations and Catering Quick Service.
Oakwood also works with permanent staff on long term career development plans and any training required to assist their progression within the company.
