Seasonal/fixed term vacancies at Oakwood

RIDE OPERATORS

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the Ride Operations team within our amazing Theme Park. You will be there to push the buttons that bring the place to life! Working as part of a dynamic team you will operate the rides and attractions. You will be responsible for the safety of any passengers or employees on the ride. Your focus will be on delivering incredible guest service whilst also maintaining our strict safety policies. Some light cleaning duties are also involved. Where else can you get to work with rollercoaster’s? Contracts run from March 2010 to October 2010.

The Requirements

Although you don’t need any specific experience, previous guest service experience will stand you in good stead. We’re looking for the right attitude, good communication skills and a personality that will put a smile on our guest’s faces throughout their visit! Show us commitment and flexibility and we’ll provide everything you need, from full training to your uniform.

CATERING TEAM LEADER

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our Catering team within our amazing Theme Park. Our fast paced Park food and beverage operation is looking for Team Leaders to support the permanent team in ensuring our seasonal team deliver outstanding service and quality food from our many catering outlets across the Park. Reporting to the Catering Manager you will be tasked with motivating and leading a team of Catering Assistants to deliver excellent guest service and drive the highest service standards. You will manage the day to day operation of designated outlets, helping ensure your restaurant achieves high scores on food hygiene audits and that you are always delivering a quality product in an efficient yet fun way. Hours of work vary according to Park opening hours and again flexibility is required to meet our business needs. Contracts run from March 2010 to October 2010.

The Requirements

Previous supervisory experience is preferred and ideally in retail or catering environment, although experience in any fast moving guest service environment is what is most important. A food hygiene certificate would be a distinct advantage, although training in this area will be given. Above all, you need to be a confident outgoing individual, capable of motivating and inspiring a diverse team of Catering Assistants. CATERING ASSISTANT

The Role

Enjoy the unique experience that Oakwood Theme Park has to offer, by assisting in the running of the Catering outlets within our amazing Theme Park. You’ll be responsible for serving meals to our guest as well as serving drinks. The number one aspect of your role will be to deliver high standards of guest service.

The Requirements

There are no formal qualifications required to take on this role. All we ask is that you are a hard worker, with a great sense of humour and a real enthusiasm for giving our guests the best service imaginable. Hours of work vary according to Park opening hours and again flexibility is required to meet our business needs. Contracts run from March 2010 to October 2010.
