ASPRO UK Vacancies:
Bristol Aquarium seeks Sales & Marketing Executive
Bristol Aquarium is a leading visitor attraction and is now recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Executive.
The role
This is a varied and challenging role and your responsibilities lie both off site and on site and knowing the environment from which we draw our visitors will be an advantage.
Hitting the ground running, you’ll have the key task of devising a sales and marketing strategy in order to drive and grow visitor numbers.
To be successful you will need to be:
• Taking a proactive approach to generating new business from domestic visitor markets, educational providers, corporate clients and tourists
• On the telephone, following up leads and referrals and looking to generate prospects and appointments
• Providing, refreshing and coordinating content for Bristol Aquarium’s website
• Be goal and target orientated, motivated to succeed by creating personal challenges
• A strong communicator, always looking for additional sales opportunities
• Confident and able to maintain rapport in all situations; over the phone and face to face
About you
We’re after a driven, ambitious and outgoing person whose strengths are as equal in Sales as they are in Marketing. Previous experience working in similar roles within the Leisure Industry would be an advantage.
You are somebody who is just as happy to roll up your sleeves and ‘do’ as you are in shaping strategy. You must be imaginative, commercial and creative enough to do a lot with a little.
Bristol Aquarium first opened its doors in November 2009 and is a relatively new attraction with huge potential. If you relish an opportunity to be part of shaping our future, we’d love to hear from you.
You will have the gumption and the confidence in challenging the status quo by introducing new perspectives and innovative thinking beyond recognized ways of doing things.
This is a full time post which involves working 5 days a week and often includes working weekends and Bank Holidays. A full driving licence is essential.
If you have the attributes, experience and enthusiasm we are looking for please apply with covering letter along with your CV to Janeen Pickup, Group HR Manager, c/o Blue Planet Aquarium, Cheshire Oaks, Cheshire, CH65 9LF. Email: recruitment@asprouk.com
